Dad doesn’t do *anything* small and this project was no exception.

Made from locally sourced, quarter sawn, figured black walnut accented with stripes of cherry from Hocking County, Ohio.

The natural wood recesses were filled with clear epoxy resin to celebrate the age and imperfections of the original walnut tree.

Features 3/4 inch rounded finger grooves for ease of lifting/moving this formidable piece.

Although this piece is beautiful enough for life as a display piece, it is sealed with Howard’s mineral oil making it ready for food display/prep on the day it arrives.
